About

TMFL Studio is designed to work in partnership with creative brands who are ready to take the next step to grow. Here, the focus is on the personality and purpose of your business. Clients and friends come to us because they’re ready to bring an outsider in who already acts like a part of their team.

Whether devising impactful launch strategies, designing captivating websites, crafting keyword strategies for paid search campaigns, rethinking a visual brand identity, or optimizing social media content for maximum ROI, we work alongside passionate teams to help transform how you communicate with your customers.

We’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with businesses on unconventional projects, such as shaping high-level business goals, managing e-commerce store operations, and streamlining company technologies. And sometimes, we may even take on the role of business therapist. But most of all we’re fun, excited, and passionate about helping you take on challenges and grow.

We don’t love jargon, but we love tunes.
This is the needle we like to move.

Tara Maylyn Frankel Leavitt

The TMFL in TMFL studio, I have been hustling on both sides of the marketing coin (in-house and agency) for nearly two decades. I’ve collaborated with a spectrum of brands, from fledgling startups to behemoths in hospitality, retail, fashion, technology, and lifestyle.

With a proven track record of bringing ideas to fruition and a wide range of skills from traditional marketing to web development, I have been privileged to work with diverse set of brands in my career including Urby, Knead Love Bakery, The Yard, Wallsé, Shop Berriez, Gett, Mack Weldon, Skyscanner, A24, Universal Studios, Intuit, Polycom, and Otterbox, to name a few.

The Process

We do things a little differently here. Most of our projects are delivered in 2-day intensives where you walk away with a completed handover of your new site or project deliverables.

Have questions about where you may fit in or not sure where to start?

Let’s begin with a chat.

  • We'll start with a quick conversation to make sure I understand what you need and when and that we'll be a fit to work together.

You can always book our first chat whenever you're ready.

  • Every project starts with a Blueprint. This is where we dive in deep together to uncover the places where you have untapped resources or opportunities. We'll lay out the plan together on how best to move forward.

There's no commitment to a full Build at this point and you're welcome to take your learnings from the Blueprint and DIY if you feel comfortable.

    Investment: $600*

*the cost of the Blueprint is applied to the full project Build.

  • Using the plan we put together from your Blueprint, we'll head into your full project Build.

Most projects fall into 3 levels that are determined during your Blueprint:

    LEVEL I.

For brands starting out who need a powerful digital home base and may include a portfolio or informational website, updated digital brand identity, and/or updated individual pages on an existing site.
    Investment: $6,000*

    LEVEL II.

For brands who need custom solutions to improve their web presence and may include a small e-commerce shop, events/blogs, multiple portfolios, custom sections, and animated "easter eggs" on Squarespace, Cargo or Shopify.
    Investment: $10,000*

    LEVEL III.

For brands who need a complete revamp and may include, e-commerce/Shopify shops, SEO audits + plans, branded email templates + decks, blogs, and more dynamic animations + add ons.
    Investment: $20,000*

*the cost of the Blueprint is applied to your project Build.

You’re in good company.

She is skillful around breaking down concepts and jargon, so that I could begin to understand where my website needed some support, and she implemented so many small and broad changes and organizational systems that have allowed my site to become more impactful, visible, coherent, and visited.

Everything about working with Tara was just right-- if you need support on your website, brand, and beyond, don't hesitate to collaborate with Tara.”
